Shogun Studio 2的双通道记录单元可以支持4K UHD、4K DCI和HD的录制,最高可以录制4K60p,并录制为适用于HDR制作的高质量10bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes和Avid DNxHR编码;配合支持RAW输出的摄影机,还可以支持最新的Apple ProRes RAW编码,并支持最高达4K120p的升格录制。视觉无损高质量编码还具有完整的HDR元数据和文件名记录功能,满足后期HDR快速制作的需求。

Atomos领先的1500尼特超高亮度和HDR监视技术也应用在Shogun Studio 2的双通道的监视屏幕上。AtomHDR技术支持标准的PQ/HLG曲线的HDR显示,监视屏幕可以提供超过10档的动态范围的HDR监看,在现场制作中可以用来进行HDR效果的参考。除了PQ和HLG曲线的支持,Shogun Studio 2还支持将各种摄影机的Log曲线直接以PQ或HLG的方式显示出来,同时还可以转换为标准PQ或HLG信号进行输出。

Shogun Studio 2具备信号下变换和信号转换功能,无需另外配置转换设备,就可将4K信号下变换为高清信号,SDI和HDMI信号可以相互转换,为使用HDMI摄影机的用户提供SDI的转换输出并方便接入到SDI设备中。

Shogun Studio 2内置了冗余双电源设计自动平衡负载,当一个电源失效时会自动启用另一个电源供电。丰富的接口和转换功能全部集成在紧凑的机箱里,为现场制作、演播室和转播车的使用节省了机架空间和其他转换配件。

Shogun Studio 2解决了多机位拍摄和长时间录制播放的诸多问题。Shogun Studio 2采用通用的高性价比的SATA固态硬盘作为存储媒体,使用一块2TB的固态硬盘即可录制长达4.6小时的4K50p高质量ProRes 422素材,录制高清1080/50i时,时间甚至长达36小时,从而真正实现了记录媒体的低成本。

Shogun Studio 2的双通道记录单元支持双格式录制,将两个通道链接起来后,可将其设置为主机和从机开始同时录制。双格式录制不仅可以实现不同编码的同时录制,还可以使用内置的下变换功能同时录制4K和高清素材,或者录制原始格式和加载LUT后的代理素材。

针对现场的快速制作流程,Shogun Studio 2具备有多达10种的元数据标记功能,在录制或者回放时,可以对素材进行不同的标记,将标记导出XML文件后可以直接导入剪辑软件中使用。录制的素材可以灵活地根据场景、镜头和拍摄次数自定义文件名,也可以读取支持的摄影机的元数据录制为与机内完全一致的文件名。灵活的文件名系统适用于媒体存储系统自动识别素材,甚至创建增量素材库。

与Shogun Studio 2强大的录制和监视功能相匹配的是其具有4K和HD的无损回放能力。播放列表功能可以在进行元数据标记时进行创建,也可根据不同的素材格式和编码来编制播放列表。单条素材可以设置入点和出点来设置子片段进行单片段的循环播放。
